Vulvar Pain Awareness Day

At the 2019, XXV World Congress in Torino, Italy, we declared September 18 as our annual Vulvar Awareness Day.

At that meeting, we focused on vulvar carcinoma and to bring attention to the fact that the occurrence rate of this rare neoplasm has not decreased in many years, and to try to bring it to the attention of other medical professionals and societies to raise their awareness.
Our second awareness campaign was for 2020 and focused on Vulvar Lichen Sclerosus.  This was a virtual campaign due to the lack of a physical meeting that year.

Our current campaign for 2021, will focus on Vulvar Pain.
